Staffordshire Engagement Network Launches Community Engagement Action Plan and Calendar - October 2009 Engagement Calendar now available

The two events, delivered by the Staffordshire Engagement Network (a group made up of consultation and engagement practitioners from across the partnership), focused on gaining agreement on what we in Staffordshire need to do to improve community engagement together.

The events highlighted:

• the strength of partners' commitment to community engagement in ensuring better and targeted service delivery
• the need to collaborate to do this efficiently
• how we overcome barriers
• focus on four key improvement areas for the partnership.

An action plan has now been developed with partners to deliver on the four key improvement areas identified in the partnership events:

Partnership Engagement Calendar

The partnership engagement calendar is a tool that has been developed that allows partners and the public to see what engagement activity is planned in Staffordshire. The information provided will be used by partners to identify where there are gaps in engagement and where we can reduce duplication. The outcome of this will make engagement more efficient and effective. This will be updated monthly.

The current calendar is now available on this website in two file formats. The Excel spreadsheet allows you to filter information on those areas that are of particular interest to you, such as location, calendar month etc:
