Shadow Staffordshire Health and Wellbeing Board

Partners across Staffordshire have a shared ambition to build a health and social care system that delivers improved outcomes for our communities in the most efficient and effective way possible. Our aim is to provide strategic leadership across the whole health care and social care sector, to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of local people.

Staffordshire has been successful in gaining 'early implementer status' and has established the Shadow Staffordshire Health and Wellbeing Board. The Board met for the first time in October 2011 to agree its Terms of Reference and future work of the Shadow Board.

While the new arrangements provide an excellent opportunity, they also raise many questions about what this means in reality.

Remember though that we are in the early stages of developing this different way of working and we will update the Staffordshire Health and Wellbeing Board webpages as the Board evolves and develops.
