District Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs)

Each District has a Local Strategic Partnership that provides strategic and community leadership in place shaping and priority setting for the area, to ensure a better quality of life for residents through their District Sustainable Community Strategy and by supporting delivery of the Countywide Sustainble Community Strategy and LAA.

Functions of a District LSP include:

  • Develop the priorities for the District Sustainable Community Strategy
  • Approve the District Sustainable COmmunity Strategy
  • Approve the District Sustainable Community Strategy Delivery Plans and the resource ot support effective delivery
  • Ensure that the District LSP is engaged in the delivery of appropriate LAA targets
  • Receive District Sustainable Community Strategy performance reports (which includes contribution to appropriate LASA targets)
