Staffordshire Strategic Board
About Staffordshire Strategic Board
The Strategic Board will ensure the delivery of improved and appropriate local public services, which enhance the quality of life for Staffordshire's people. The Board has a particular role in relation to funding which is two fold:

To develop priorities for and approve the Sustainable Community Strategy.

Approve the Staffordshire LAA and approve LAA delivery plans.

Receive Sustainable Community Strategy and LAA performance reports that focus on exception.

Report progress to the wider LSP forum and Staffordshire Communities.
Chair
The Chair of Staffordshire Strategic Board is Mr Philip Atkins (CC), Leader of Staffordshire County Council.
Membership
The Strategic Board is made up of all the Local Authority Leaders, the Chair of the Staffordshire Strategic Partnership, Staffordshire Consortium of Infrastructure Organisations (SCIO), PCT Chairs, Keele University, Staffordshire University, Chair of the LSC, Chair of the Police Authority in Staffordshire and the Chair of the Fire and Rescue Authority. Government Office for the West Midlands (GOWM), Stoke on Trent's Leader and the Chair of Stoke on Trent Strategic Partnership are all invited to attend as Observers.
