District Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs)

Each district has a Local Strategic Partnership that provides strategic and community leadership in place shaping and priority setting for the area, to ensure a better quality of life for residents.

They will set the local vision for a district and localities and contribute to the delivery of the shared strategic partnership priorities as appropriate. Their role also includes:

  • Empowering individuals with the responsibility and accountability to oversee the delivery of shared local priorities.
  • Checking and challenging that the priorities are being delivered and the right partners engaged.
  • Ensuring that the supporting groups/partnerships are fit-for-purpose and are meeting statutory requirements where appropriate.
