District Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs)

Each district has a Local Strategic Partnership that provides strategic and community leadership in place shaping and priority setting for the area, to ensure a better quality of life for residents.

They will set the local vision for a district and localities and contribute to the delivery of the shared strategic partnership priorities as appropriate. Their role also includes:

Empowering individuals with the responsibility and accountability to oversee the delivery of shared local priorities.
Checking and challenging that the priorities are being delivered and the right partners engaged.
Ensuring that the supporting groups/partnerships are fit-for-purpose and are meeting statutory requirements where appropriate.
