The Staffordshire Engagement Network

The Staffordshire Engagement Network is a group made up of consultation and engagement practitioners from across the partnership that focus on co-ordinating and improving community engagement across the county.

Staffordshire's Community Engagement Action Plan

The Staffordshire Engagement Network have recently delivered two successful partnership events in 2009 that have led to the development of a Community Engagement Action Plan and Community Engagement Calendar for the partnership.

The two events focused on gaining agreement on what we in Staffordshire need to do to improve community engagement together.

The events highlighted:

• the strength of partners' commitment to community engagement in ensuring better and targeted service delivery
• the need to collaborate to do this efficiently
• how we overcome barriers
• focus on four key improvement areas for the partnership.

An action plan has now been developed with partners to deliver on the four key improvement areas identified in the partnership events:
