Background
In September 2009, the Staffordshire Strategic Partnership agreed to support partnership working to improve children's health and wellbeing in three priority areas - Penkside in Stafford, Anglesey in East Staffordshire and Glascote in Tamworth. A small amount of Learning to Deliver funding provided by the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP) has supported work in Penkside and Anglesey.
Lessons Learnt
Two years on, it is useful to identify what lessons have been learned from the work that is taking place. The lessons learned have been gathered from each of the three pilots and collated into one document:
Lessons Learned - December 2011 (32kb)
Progress Reports
Progress reports on each area are attached below - it is noticeable how work taking place to address areas of concern is very different in each area and this fits well with one of the key partnership principles - "local solutions must be designed to meet local needs".
Anglesey Progress Report - November 2011 (38kb)
Glascote Progress Report - November 2011 (51kb)
Penkside Progress Report - November 2011 (30kb)
