Locality Working
Service delivery is increasingly required to take place at a small geographical level where the need is disproportionately high. The focus for such work may be a town centre, a ward or parish, or part of an estate. In some areas of Staffordshire there is already a considerable history, and a proven track record, of successful locality working. In other areas locality working is being planned for the first time. A countywide group has been set up for Locality Working across Staffordshire to support delivery of the Local Area Agreement (LAA).
One of the first tasks for this group was to identify which areas to focus on. Each local authority district proposed areas for Locality Working. A total of 27 areas were proposed across Staffordshire and a profile of each area has been produced. The profiles are available to download here:
